Messages From Spirit Come In Many Forms

Greetings on this day marked 11-11!

So, what is the meaning and significance of 11-11? Well, if you go online and do a web search you will come across many different explanations from various different sources and I am not here to dismiss or argue any of those claims, but I would like to offer my perspective as I believe that Spirit communicates and works with us through MANY different ways and numbers can definitely be one of them.

When I began on my path of spiritual seeking some twenty plus years ago now, I was offered many messages through numbers, particularly the number 555, which has been, and remains a powerful messenger number for me that I still receive from Spirit quite often.

It all began on a particular day in my early twenties when I was driving to a job that I didn’t really align with and I was dating a man who was not good for my soul, and I was feeling quite lost and depleted. I was praying for direction and asking for help with what I was to do and how I could get out of what I got myself into and into something that was better for me, all around. In that very moment a car drove past me with the license plate 555555. I had never seen a license plate with only numbers like that and honestly I had never really paid much attention to license plates before that, but it caught my attention and I intuitively knew and felt in my bones that there was some message in it for me, but what? What did all of those 5’s mean? I puzzled over that for some time, I came to understand that Spirit was letting me know that my prayers were being heard and confirming that what I was saying was not going to some empty abyss somewhere out in the vast universe, but it was being received. I felt I was being shown that Spirit was right there, listening, hearing, and working on my behalf to assist me on my journey; and has been all along, I had just forgotten to reach out and connect.

That’s how the spiritual journey seems to go. We can feel like we are doing life all on our own and struggling with this or that and it is usually in the struggle that we decide to reach out to Spirit for help, for assistance, for clarity, etc. And it is precisely in those moments that Spirit responds. It may not always appear in a direct message on a license plate, but it does come. We simply must to remember to ask.

Ask and you shall receive.

Seek and you shall find.

Knock and it shall be opened unto you.

All such beautiful reminders of how Spirit works.

You’ve gotta do the asking in order to receive. You’ve gotta do the seeking in order to find. And you’ve gotta do the knocking to realize that you are also the one who opens the door. We are half of the relationship.

So instead of thinking that all of your wildest dreams are going to come true because we are crossing through the date of 11-11 on the calendar, (and I’m not saying that they won’t, they very well could and that would be amazing!) but what if you used this day as a doorway to enter more deeply into your own direct relationship with Spirit? What if you asked Spirit directly for deeper understanding of whatever it is you are seeking or questioning or desiring and trusted that you would be shown the way or the answer in a form that only you can understand?

Our spiritual journeys and connections with Spirit are not a one size fits all, but when you can really trust that you are connected to the Source of all at all times and that your questions, your prayers, and your requests are being heard, and that you are loved and supported by this infinite and unconditional Love always and in all ways, your entire life changes.

So maybe utilize today to ask yourself - What is the meaning and significance of 11-11 to me?

Whatever you find that it is or isn’t, may you enjoy this day with all that it has to offer, remembering your part in relating to Spirit and staying open to all possibilities.
